The portlet "Most Downloads" shows the documents that were downloaded the most by the users in the current group or in the current user groups.

Introduction

Configuration

The portlet "Most Downloads" was designed with the same intent of "Last Uploads", but it shows the documents that were downloaded the most by the users in the current group or in the current user groups. 

It can be configured to:

choose how many files to show in the list (All by default)
show only the elements uploaded in the current group (site) or the elements uploaded in the groups (sites) of the current user (required)
choose file mime-type(s) to show in the list (optionally)
choose to show the creation user of document (optionally)
choose to show the creation date of document (optionally)

The documents will be shown in descending order by number of downloads made by users.

For every file it will display the size and the name, containing a link, to preview the document content. Moreover, it will display a download link that allow the users to decide if and when to download the document; if the portlet is configured to show the files uploaded to all the user groups it will show the groups name too. If the portlet is configurated to show the creation user it will show the user name, the functionality for the creation date is similar.
